Businesswoman Jacquie Brown, 48, opened her first beauty salon in Ecclefechan 30 years ago and has been at the Whitesands in Dumfries for 25 years. She is on the board of Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce, is a member of Thrive and is a business-to-business mentor, as well as being an expert member of Santi, which looks at innovations in the health and beauty industry. Jacquie lives in Dumfries with her daughters, Alice, 16, and Emily, 14.
