Pink Champagne, Guinot beauty goodies, taster treatments and top tips for looking good and feeling great were the order of the day for guests at a special Mothers & Daughters Day at Jacquies The Premier Beauty Salon in Dumfries recently.

Such was the demand for the event, which also saw the launch of the salon’s new Teen Treatments service, that there was a queue of about 30 people waiting for it to start.

“That was a first,” said salon owner, Jacquie Brown, who welcomed more than 100 mothers and daughters through her doors on the day, all keen to join in the celebration of mums, learn about and sample treatments.

“It was massively stimulating to see so many women who are learning the importance of investing time and energy into themselves,” said Jacquie, who enlisted the help of Blooms The Florist to fill the salon with stunning flowers.

Jacquie will be hosting a Discovery Day in the salon on May 17, focusing on the Ionithermie inch-loss treatment.
